Ok just finished my Powerdyne BD11a supercharger install on my 87 GT convertible AOD...the blower was modified/rebuilt by 928 motorsports with the better kevlar belt, billet impeller, better bearings...Ok here the mods...87 GT speed density,Im seeing 8 psi on the gauge too.....19 lb injectors,FMU calibrated 12:1,aeromotive afpr,190 lph fuel pump,70mm TB,Bosch bi-pass,anderson Powerpipe 7x4inch K&N air filter,Mac shorty headers,Mac off road H-pipe,Flowmaster cat back,MSD coil, wires, cap, rotor,Autolite plugs #24's gapped at .032, AOD with a mild stall speed convertor, shiftkit and transcooler,I think it has 3.55's maybe 3.27's... The car before THE blower ran 14.4@96 mph and that was really the 1st time at the track and really didnt fine tune it..So what kind of HP do you think i have now and what do you think my ET's will be?

You should get a tune... are 19# injectors really enough? I have 24# and the air/fuel is perfect according to the dyno printouts...

The 19's are probably pushing it...But with the FMU being calibrated to 12:1 it actually might be on the rich side ..The motor is basically stock except for some bolt ons and the blower so i hope im ok...

Why not just get it dynoed so you know the legit #'s? We could throw out guesses all day long but that's not really going to tell you what the car is putting out. Here is my wild guess: 270rwhp, 13.2@101mph.

Really that low? My 86 with x-303 cam,1.6 roller rockers, Gt-40 intake, 3.73 gears and et streets ran 13.3@101mph. His might be abit faster. I would say high 12's

low 13's at 105mph. When your Powerdyne breaks get a Vortech!

I don't know much about how the p-dynes are on a 5.0 but I do remember from my days in the 4.3 v6 s10 world that the 'dynes always put out the least amount of HP compared to Vortech and ATI.

Yeah i know the powerdyne isnt the best,I am seeing 9 pounds of boost and Boost is Boost....,But for the money i paid for it i think i did ok..As far as times and HP your right a dyno would be the best..I will be running it soon so i will post up times and with that i could get a good estimate of HP with weight and time...Im hoping for low low 13's maybe a high 12's we will see...

I had a Powerdyne bd11a break twice at 367 miles, thats why i hate powerdyne, Carl at 928 rebuilt my unit also. i had a 9lb pulley but only saw 7 psi. Powerdyne isnt complete junk, but its no Vortech or Procharger.
