well, i've got some questions for you mechanics out there. my car has really been acting up lately. i like to ask questions on here, because usually someone has had the problem you are having and can help out. anyway, for starters my car has been hard to start lately. in the morning you have to crank and crank for it to start. or, you can crank for a few seconds, then turn the key off and then crank and it will start up. it may have something to do with the fuel pump, because the second time, the fuel pump is louder when you turn the key. once it starts, it runs fine. or at least it has for the past year. but one time after driving for a while, it started really running bad, it would just bog when i hit the gas, and it had no torque. it wouldn't even peel out if i dumped the clutch. well i finally got home and raised the hood with it idling. it started idling slower and slower and when i would give it gas it would miss and want to die. finally it just died and wouldn't start. i let it sit for a few hours, and then it would start and run pretty good again. so i kept driving it. i'm pretty short on money right now so i just let it slide. well it never did that again for like 3 or 4 months, and i drive it a lot. now it has done the same thing twice since then. the next day it will run good again. except for being hard to start anyway. so what could be causing this? if anyone has any ideas i would appreciate them. thanks.
