What is stock Fuel Pressure on a 96 GT

Exactally what my post says..... what is the stock fuel pressure set at on a 96 Mustang GT obviousley a 4.6L SOHC. I am thinking about getting the BBK fuel pressure regulator and I want to set the fuel pressure just a coupple lbs above stock... so I need to know what bace is so I can tune off that.

I think my gauge under the hould shows a little below 40 if I am not mistaken..

I think I found the info on another site.... BBK says 36psi with the vacc line off..... I think that is right too... but I am not sure.

I think its between 35-40, somewhere in there...not sure on exact numbers though

It should be anywhere from 35-45 with the vaccum attatched and 50 with it unplugged. If it is less then your pump may be weak. I go these numbers from the Haynes manual.

The factory setting is 39 PSI!

Here is a picture from my Haynes manual. Between 30 and 45 psi at idle. Between 40 and 50 psi with vacuum line disconnected.

My 98GT, manual says 30-35 with vac connected and 40 without. Give or take.
I tested mine other day, 30 vac on, 40 vac off. The Haynes says 98 has a returnless system, I think thats a misprint, mine is clearly return style.
