I want to port the intake elbow I have. I don't really need to make the openings bigger but I wanted to smooth it out inside and maybe take a little off the inside curve to smooth the flow out. What ideas do you guys have or what have you done in order to do this best. Thanks.

use a dremel with the pen thing extension on it. if all youre doing is smoothing, thatll do the trick really well. use a fine coarse bit for it.

what elbow ar you smoothing out???

I used a dremel with a 1/2" 180grit sanding drum and it worked very well on my trick flow 75mm elbow. then I went back and used some polishing compound to smooth it out even more. If you want pics I can get em??????

I'm doing it to the Edelbrock Elbow. I have a 70mm Edelbrock throttle body and I'm going to be running the RPM II intake manifold so it just made sense to go with the edelbrock elbow too. I just think I could help clean things up a bit better then the casting comes from Edelbrock.
