No breakin time for roller cam. What I did was 10-30 dyno ,prime it, get it started and quickly work to get the idle set and air out of the cooling system. Once basics are good and idle is ok...short drive up to temp, then back to check for noises and or leaks. If all ok another trip out and about with an oil change upon return. From there I babied mine for quite some time with lots of inner city driving and occasional second and third gear pulls to 5000RPM. Second oil change was at 200 miles and I continued to drive the car fairly easily but still kept taching her up occasionally to 5500. After 200 miles I changed oil again and just drove it like I always drive..inner city stop and go...watching gauges all the time to get used to what's now normal for her (ie pressure and temps) and had no issues with taching her up when ever I wanted to 6000. Last oil change was 500 miles and though I continue to use dyno 10-30 I consider her broken in and just enjoy driving it.
