What is The Difference between an H pipe and Prochamber??

the prochamber is probably the quietest O/R midpipe u can get, but it also has the deepest tone, regular h will be louder. the prochamber is SUPPOSED to have similar hp numbers to an x-pipe, i dunno about that but it seems logical that it would flow more than a regular h, thats why i got one, seemed like the best of both worlds to me.

The prochamber has the "chamber" that merges the exhaust gasses and swirls them. That is supposed to create almost like a vacuum and pull the exhaust from the cylinders. More exhaust out equals more power. Be aware of leaks by the manifolds with it.

i want to get bbk longtubes(i dont trust mac headers from all the people complaining about them) but i dont know if the prochamber will fit fine with the headers thats why i am thinking about buying the o/r h pipe but i like the sound of the prochamber.

What LT's do you have?

mac :nice: the only problem i ever had with them, is i had a crack in the driver side header when we put them on this stang. but we called them & told them. they overnighted another header to us to correct the situation. IMO mac gets a lot of crap because people talk about stuff they have heard & it gets spread like that. granted that they did have some quality control issues a while back but they have made large strides to rectify the problems. i've never had a bad experience with mac. but i would recommend the ceramic (ceramac) coated ones :nice:
