This caught on fire and almost burnt up James' freshly painted cobra. What is it?

Exactly right. That module is why your window rolls all the way down when you hit down once on the window switch.

So he shouldn't NEED it, but he said the window won't go down at all now. Wonder why that is?

After crash cops can take the "black box" to the lab and investigate it to see what cause the accident

the wire from the switch goes to the module before it goes to the motor. without the module you are not sending power to the motor. i suppose you could bypass the module and run the wire from the switch to the motor.

Thanks alot guys. And thank you nacho for posting this for me (I was at dinner with the girlfriend).

Dang module had water in it, I guess from when the painter might have been wet sanding the car It shorted out, started smoking and melting and was about to ignite. Luckily, since my hood isn't on yet, I was able to pull the negative off of the battery quickly. Then burned my hand trying to grab it too soon, haha.

I'll look into it tomorrow to see which would be the safest way to bypass it until I can get another module.

Or if anyone has done it before, a description of wire colors to wire colors would much be appreciated.

I've heard about people doing that, so there must be some way to do it.
