What is this grey connector

I have 2 little grayconnectors one is by the egr valve, and the other is by the alternator... My question is what are they and I dont' really have a pic sorry.


They are on the main wiring harness's.

I think your talking about the radio EMI filters. The look like the letter C

The get rid of spark plug noise for the AM radio.

Well one of those sparked against the block and now the theft system is on pats is screwing me up any ideas?

Best guess would be the radio filters. If they are the C shape and attached to a bracket, that is most definately what they are. These usually mount on the front of each head on either side of the alternator.

The year of your car would help and just to double check, these are both dead ends in your harness?.?.?... They are not connectors or plugs?
