what is this knob on my seat?

ive been wondering since i got the car, and it doesnt seem to do anything. its only on the drivers side seat

lombar support, for your lower back, at least that's what it looks like (I have them in my F-150). You turn it and it changes how much support the lower part of the seat gives your back

Nah, the lumbar support is right next to that (labeled in that picture actually). The stangs get 2 buttons.

What year Mustang do you have to have that?

It's the thigh bolster knob. You screw it in or out and it squeezes the sides of the seats in out lets them out for support around your thighs.

I thought Ford stopped using them in 1993

its a 95. but it doesnt really turn much either direction, so i dunno what it could do

My 94 has it. Tightens up the side bolsters on mine.

It makes the sides of the seat move in, to supposedly support you better (make you more firmly in place or whatever) ... I have one on my seat and you can hardly feel the difference. It's a POS.

well it may actually help me cuz my legs are always sore after driving cuz they are slammed against the sides of the seat
