loosen and pry with a screwdriver, and if you want knuckles to remain intact, wear gloves. its very easy as long as you dont have a cobra and even then, easy. 3 minute job max

lol, I have a little story about this hose.

My buddy James and I were out of town at a friend's house, getting ready for a wedding. We're running a little behind, and it's about 20 minutes before the wedding STARTS. I go out to the stang and start her up, and smell coolant. I pop the hood and this bad boy is spraying coolant all over the passenger side of the engine bay. CRAP!! Already in our suits, my buddy and I jump in and run down to the parts store to get a new one. After a few minutes we get back to my friend's house and her dad lets us borrow some tools. In our suits, lol, we're out there 10 minutes before the wedding starts wrenching on the stang. Finally get the old one off, but the new one is too long!! Luckily her dad has a hacksaw, and I'm able to cut it down. But I didn't cut it quite short enough, so it's still a little long. Instead of recutting, I just try and jam it on there. Bye-bye knuckles. Finally we get it on and realize we left the band clamps off. Off the hose comes, we get the clamps on, and I put it back on. 2 minutes until the wedding starts, and we make it with about 30 seconds to spare!! We smelled real sweet too.

Haha...that is pretty good. I had another question not related to the hose. I have rumbling noise underneath my car when I either stop at a red light or park or stop accelerating...I am not sure what it is, maybe be heat shield on the cats, exhaust leak? Anyone else have any clue what it might be? :OT:

Try using a utility knife and slice the old hose for removal. Just One Man's Opinion. Peace
