steeda? summit brand?
i dont care much about the color, and i guess im fine with sticking with a 58 series. if i had to pick id probably do a stainless one. is it cheaper to buy the box, and then cables and stuff, or a whole kit?

i would mount it as far back and to the passenger side as i could in the back. its just a daily driver, im trying to get weight off the front end, and i want to do this at the same time i do my 3g alt.
did it really come with everything you needed?
I am running the Steeda box in my daily driver - nice quality kit.

on latemodel if you click 90, it only brings up the upr one. are the steedas supposed to be sn car specific?
the upr one is not bad. its allot cheaper than the steeda one too. anyone using this ?

Are you trying to be track legal? If so, you will need to go with a sealed one, dont waste the money on a cheap kit. If you just want to street use it go cheap. Use our advance battery box and just bolt it down. Find the longest wire we sell for the battery cable. And a 3ft ground cable we sell, and your done. If the wire we have isnt long enough just use the 2ga spool wire. The box we carry is the same box the summit kit comes with, I got the summit kit a long time ago.
not sure what brand it is. i have a the cell in the back so i had to do a bulk head from the trunk to the inside of the car
Is it significantly cheaper to source all the wire, connectors, battery hold down, and box separately rather than buying the $80 kit from Summit?

If you have ever priced out 4 gauge wiring then you would see that it is probably gonna be a lot cheaper to buy the kit..
so the summit kit is alright? no need to spend 150 on the upr kit? just about looks of the battery box at this point? is the quality of the upr box any better than the summit one?

Yeah, I figured the wire would be the killer.
so the summit kits not legal for any kind of drag racing really and the upr is ? is that what this comes down to?
yea. summit has one that cost a little more and needs the j bolts welded to the car for it to be sanction legal.
