I got one from a 1999+ GT.
It's leather. Fits good around the hand.
With my Steeda shifter it feels great.
I really like it. you can find it for cheap too.

bullit knob with the bottom stem hackd off

so it sits shorter for a shorter throw.

the stem will snap off if you shift hard enough

So you sayin Bullitt one with the bottom stem hackd off is good and gonna be little bit shorter than with stem and how Bullitt one is handle for quick shifting (racing)

AND DID ANYBODY HAVE PICS OF BULLITT KNOB because I think there is two different Billitt knob's , one with flat top and one like ball

I still have the stocker.

My uncle has a 98 GT with a nice leather shift nob.

I like the pistol grip type knobs from Steeda. It probably gets extremely hot too.

oh yeah
it works great and weighted nicely for quick shifting.

you want a heavier shifting knob ... the weight aids in the easier throw into the gates
