You should really look into one. It will drastically improve launches.

Well, that's kind of how you "stall" . . . he did it correctly.

I read something before that said a 'flash stall' (stomping the gas pedal from idle) will get you to a higher RPM than a 'brake stall' (holding the brake down and inching up the RPMs).

Recently, I tried brake stalling at one track and flash stalling at a different track and got different 60 ft times. The brake stall times were better. However, that track was 100x better prep'ed so I can't reasonably say one is better than the other. Next time I'm at the track, I'll try 3 of one then 3 of the other.

Before the 4.10 gears, drs, and SCT
I ran 14.2 -14.4 times. I launched at idle and that was it.
when I did the gears I tried a couple of practice launches
and nothing but spin. With the DRS I launch from idle and it
hooks fairly well with minimum spin. By the way, I do not
race at the track or street race. My car is very clean,
mineral grey premium package. I went with the Northen Virginia
Mustang club last year when I ran those times. I am not
into serious drag racing and will NOT do a torque converter
at this time. I was just wondering how much time improvement
would be gained and how to best launch with these mods.
I really appreciate feedback related to this set-up only tyty.
