Any markings on them??

There are a few brands that run red springs. MAC, Eibach, a couple lesser brands.

Your car is going to be sittin right on the tire if you run a 17" rim with 40s becuse with a 1.5" drop I sit 2 fingers allaround.Thats with my fingers pushed together petty good so it more like 1 and a half or so.Well even with my ponys it sat 2 fingers off the tire.

No markings I'm hoping someone can tell by the number of coils and the spacing

Check on ebay. There's a flavor of red springs for sale on there that drop things a reported 2". Anytime you search for stang springs, you see a lot of ads for them.
