I need to ditch my h-pipe, its not wide enough in the middle to clear the t56's brace. I would like an x pipe but i dont know what will be wide and straight enough initially from my headers down to the cross section, then to the cat back section.
Please let me know if this doesnt make sense, but the t56 brace has some "bump ups" for the exhaust to go through, my o/r h-pipe (flowtech) isnt getting the job done, it doesnt fit.

Anyone with experience/advice please give me some aid asap, FFW is comming soon!

I can't directly help you, but because that same D&D T56 is planned for my car this fall, I have tried to figure out mid-pipes that will work.

My best though so far is to look for an aftermarket 03-04 Cobra mid-pipe and see if I can use it (even with some modifications). I figure, since the "New Edge" is still an SN-95 and the 03-04 Cobra's had a wide ratio T56 stock.

Hope this helps.

Unfortunately I don't have a solution because I have the same issue. I put a t-56 in this spring. I had a Bassani off road X pipe on the car before the swap, and managed to get it back on after the swap but the mid pipe was pushing on the crossmember, A LOT. I called D&D, and they said that an H-pipe should work, so I got a BBK off road H pipe. Pretty much had the same issue, but it did fit a little better. I took the H-pipe and put a short extension on the "H" portion of the pipe to widen it out and give it more clearance, but not too much to where the tailpipes wouldn't mount up. It just barely clears the crossmember like this, and it makes some clunking noises at idle.
After it annoys me enough, I am going to take it to an exhaust shop to have the midpipe modified so it fits correctly.
