I love my new stang more than anything else, I put 400 miles on it in 5 days, but theres one thing that it needs, to be louder. I am gonna get an off road x-pipe later on, but for now I am just gonna get some weld-ins. I want something that will scare ricers, but wont drone so much. Keep in mind Ill be getting a catless x-pipe later on so I dont want it to be rediculously loud after I get that.

I like my Force II catback(Flowmaster 3 chambers)

Had it with Dr. Gas X pipe and now my Mac H pipe. X pipe was quieter, but screamed like mad when you wound it up.
H pipe with this catback has the most incredible balsy sound, and louder in the lower rpm than with the X pipe.
Both mid-pipes are relatively docile with the 3 chambers when cruising, but start pushing the loud pedal and...

Just don't get a Bassani or BBK X pipe if you go with chambered mufflers and you'll be happy.

The typical 40 series flowmaster weld ins sound good... and not too loud, and dont drone too bad... this is all with the stock hpipe.

Now you say you want something that sounds good with the stock but not too loud with the offroad x. Well.... the stock muffler are pretty loud with an offroad x, so you might want to reconsider the or-x if you are worried about volume.

by not to loud I mean I dont want the cops to bother me. My wrx reached 105db. I had no cats, no resonators, 3" strait through pipe and a totally useless 3" in and out rice muffler. The only things I am worried about is cops and long long trips.

If you want stealth where you can drop it down quiet (cops) and at WOT get nice and loud then go with Dynomax Superturbo. The Regular Magnaflows not the Magnapacks are really low sounding and don't drone. You will not lose performance with the Dynomax's and you won't have Drone. I've done the Dronemasters, they suck. If you are going to use it for a weekend show/drag car that is one thing but for your daily no way.

If you are going catless anything will be loud. On my current Stang I just went stock Cat Back with a MAC O/R/H and it is loud at WTO and has a nice idle and mid throttle sound. In fact I see no need in changing out the Catback. I got a huge power increase with the H pipe so I am content.

I really think people waste 400.00 on Catbacks yielding very little hp from them.

Also I was looking at x-pipes, the bassani is really reasonable so I think Im gonna buy two mufflers and the x pipe at the same time.

DynoMax sucks the ass-end of a gopher. MAC Flowpaths and Pro-Chamber for a deep, ballsy, non-cliche Mustang sound.

I think so. my logic

>13.9 sec quarter mile you should not be alowed to have a loud car.
>12.9 sec modified but no rediculous exhaust. it is false advertising
<12.9 sec run what ever you want you earned it

I vote borla xr-1's or bassani race if you want something a bit loud.

I vote for the MAC Flowpaths. Did the Flowmaster and Bassani thing. I just like the sound of the MACs. Deeper and louder the higher the RPM goes.

Pro-Chamber and Flowpaths are the way to go. PC is not the loudest you can find but it by far gives the deepest, meanest growl.
