Its better than bike week there. They have a death rate not just one accident every year!

Mustang Week is insane for anyone who has never been. Definately worth the time off and the money!

Yeah it was the last week in July this year. They have events from Tues till Sat or Sun, but we went from Sun- Sun and just went out every night. It was a great time with and without the Mustang stuff going on!

Thats not the story I heard. I was told the throttle stuck and the guy driving it was a very good driver, things just happened way to fast. I wasnt there for that one or know the exact story, but with this one, it was a case of a bad driver as you can see from the vid.

I did not get it painted, and actually had to drive my sisters 94 GT to Myrtle Beach. Nice car but not mine!

After watching that video of the black Cobra and hearing about the throttle sticking, it sounds like it did stick. When he spins around, it sounds like the throttle is still wide open and the clutch got pushed in. Unless the guy was an idiot, you would think that he'd have let off when the car started to spin around.

That Cobra was from S.C and from what was posted by someone who knows the car here in N.C. he has(had lol) to shimmie the car side to side to get it to break traction. He was just showing off, and lost it, cause he cant drive w.o.d. That intersection is at Colonial Mall where the big meet(car show) is held, and there are always spectators lines up along both sides of the road watching the Stangs come and go. There are always the ones who need to show off for the crowds, and unfortunately, some of em dont know how to handle their cars. There was another similar incident the same day involving a D.S.G GT.There is video on that, too. He does a 180(luckily doesnt cross the median, but ends up facing the wrong way in the left hand lane, and then whips around and nearly wrecks a Cobra that was just getting into it as he was leaving. Mustang Week is an Awesome time(check the threads on Corral-there is a subforum specifically for Mustang Week) and anyone who can attend should make it a point to do so(always the last full week of July), but if idiots keep this crap up, they may just ruin it for the rest of us.
