I’m looking around on http://www.autobodystore.com/ and I’m trying to find a gun. I already have a gun for primer, now I need one for base coat and clear coat. I am looking to spend around $150 if the gun is worth it. What do you guys recommend?

How big of an air compressor do you have? A 5 HP unit with a 60 gallon tank is probably the minimum for any kind of high quality, continous duty paint application.

As mentioned above, air compressor size is important. SCFM rating is important. Most guns you buy will have the SCFM requirement listed.

The Finish line guns from Devilbiss are pretty good. see link above. Mine is similar to that gun. Works great.

**EDIT: Wrong link

dont scimp on a gun, only buy the best or your throwing away money

We have a craftsmen gun, brand new in box that I plan on using for the primer. My compressor is a 25 gallon, 5hp, but we have a 10 gallon tank we are hooking up to it as well.
