The pistons on my old motor lack prolly 1/4 or a tad more from making it to the top of the cylinder wall. What exactly does this hurt? This was a boosted motor. Thanks.
And the motor wasnt doing this before? In some cases like with low compression engines the pistons wont seem to come up completely. If the motor is still running, that I cant seem to think what would cause such a problem but still allow the engine to run well. I've heard of boost being so much that it caves in the center of the piston, but not making the pistons sit lower.
