GT 03 manual with Vortech V-2 SQ & Aftercooler, filter, exhaust system, short shift. What should get @ ¼?

with a decent driver you could be down into the top of the 12s or bottom of the 13s...slicks would make that a lot better

usually people pull 110-113mph with those mods. E.T. depends on traction. anywhere from 12.5-13.5.

Damn. I won’t waist my money. More than $5200 for 12.5 to 13 . I thought I will hit mid of 11’s !!. If is it LS1 with same mods easily it will get mid 11’s or lower .

How would you think it would be in the 11's? 260hp GT + Supercharger = maybe 400hp! Do you see stock cobra's going 11's with the same hp?

ls1 should never be capitalized.
Should have bought a DOHC if you were wanting 11s that easily.

You should be able to get mid 12's with 8-9 psi on a vortech. Thats nothing to scoff at. You'll beat most cars running mid 12's. Only the hardcore people will be able to take you. Your gonna have to take that engine apart and built it for a supercharger if you want to get in the low 11's. Dont forget how fast 11's really is. Z06 runs mid 12's, viper runs low 12's, and 03 cobra runs mid-high 12's from the factory. So you'll be running with 40-80k vehicles having only payed 20k+5k for a blower. I dont see how you can complain about that.

MID 12'S Maybe low 12's on slicks. Your car will move My M5 got beat by a gt running just a supercharger and exhaust and its a fast car. The super charger will put your car in the speed range of 50k and up cars so the 5k is not a bad investment

The kb boost a pump was installed by the previous owner actually its installed but unhooked. The car is at modular madness in the process of a total cobra topend and a d1 procharger which will be running 18psi. So all old parts will be for sale

nice...so where did they locate you a cobra engine to start with? I've been trying to find an engine for less than 1500 to build up. Thats my plan atleast.

Full drag suspension, skinnies up front and slicks out the ass and you'll come close, if you don't bust your rear first.

Good point...a combination of 3.73's + Mickie Thompsons and the supercharger just might get him in the 11's.

There good about returning emails. Im not sure about the whole block becouse prior to the new job I had a cobra bottom end so I just purchased the top end from Modular madness. shot him a email or call and ask for don tell him you know john with the saleen maybe he can give you a little more of a hook up considering i spend alot with them If your interested in any of the old parts in my sig let me know

Well they have a 4valve on their page in used parts list long block for like 3600 YIKES. Thats way out of my league. I just want a used engine in decent condition. Shouldn't cost more than 2000 i wouldn't think.

Slicks and a blower? I can see that rear end getting trashed quite quickly.
