i have a 2000 stang with 35000 miles. the motor is knocking. dont know why. everybody that hears it tell me probably a rod bearing. the oil pressure is great. the oil level is perfect. what should i do. pull it and change rod bearings or just buy a new motor.
Prob a rod bearing cuz 99 and 2000 love to spin em. You can find a used motor on classifieds and ebay for cheap. Or if you want big power in the future go with a built shortblock.
