What size are the cowl vent screws??

I need to grab some screws to fasten my cowl vent down, and out of all of the boxes of screws i have, none of them seem to be the right size / pitch. Does anyone have a source to buy these from, or know what size these damn things are?

they're similiar to some of the interior screws. i'd just pull one from somewhere in your interior, try it out on the cowl vent, and if it fits, take it to a hardware store.

im not sure of the size, but if i remember correctly its just another sheet metal screw like most of the other screws on the car, but not one of the self tapping screws. Hopefully this will help you out

Thanks for the responses so far... if i remember correctly, these screws have like a beveled head, and i just wanted to make sure they sit flush or kinda countersunk with the cowl so it doesnt look goofy.

I have to mount my fuel pressure gauge on it tonight, so ill go through some of the interior screws and see if any of those fit.
