Just ordered a set of deep dish GT4 wheels from american muscle 18x10 looking at either a 295 or a 305 drag radial.. anyone got any input thinking wanna i go with either a 295/45 or a 305/45 dont really wanna go with anything smaller than a 45 because id like to have some kind of sidewall. The car is stock height may or may not lower it. Dont wanna spend over $500 on tires and they rub, so if someones got picks of a 305 on would be great. You can email me the pics if it'd be easier. blown07gt@gmail.com

Maybe even a M/T 305 35 18 cause i just read that they are equal to a 29" tall tire.

I have the Nitto 555 dr's in 305/35 in the back. Im going to do 45's next, and they will fit just fine on your car. As far as looks its just perfect. Sooooo wide in the back is just damn sexy

Now I'm running the Nitto NT05 315/35/20s since I only got 5,000 miles out of my NT555Rs.

NastyStang113 - the 305 looks great. With the car being lowered, do you have any problems with rubbing? Also, I think that Nitto is the only company to offer a 20" drag radial - how do they perform?

Thanks.

18's seem to hook better than the 20's but u will notice a big difference over street tires...night and day!!!

I've been running 18x10s on the back with 295/35/18 but they're a smaller diameter than my fronts that are 275/40/18. I'm moving up to the NittoDR 305/40/18 to roughly match diameters. The 45's look really cool, but it's a bit tall in the sidewall for me. I'm getting them from Discount Tire Direct...good price. A lot of us were waiting from someone to release this size as they're perfect for this application.

Nope, they never rubbed even with people in the back. The Nitto NT555Rs perform pretty great for a street tire on a high HP car. Definitely can run them at the track but the MTs will perform better but also wear out faster. At 524 rwhp and 501 rwtq I could hammer it in first gear on the street and barely get any spin. It would spin slightly but not enough to make it beneficial to back out of the throttle. As far as at the track, as long as the track is prepped properly they will hook up.

Anyone running 315/40/18? I'm trying to decide between these and the 305/40/18. My two concerns are rubbing and them going beyond flush with the wheel well. Putting them on 18x10 DD Bullits
