All 17" Mustang rims are 17x8

EXCEPT:
'93 Cobra = 17x7.5
'03-04 Cobra = 17x9
'95 Cobra R = 17x9

Yup, 87-90 was 15x7, 91-93 was 16x7 except for the cobra.

8" wheels tend to rub on fox's. I have 17x8's on my LX and get some rub. Apparently that was unacceptable to Ford at the time

so im deducting that since my buddy has 275's on his stock bullit wheels that 275's will also fit on my 98 gt wheels. since they are 17x8. right...

Yup, they are the same diameter. They will fit the same, although some might say 275's are too big for an 8" wheel

But keep in mind the wheel wells of the 94-98's are a tad smaller than the 99+s

Something to keep in mind
