what size rim should i go with

i have an 85 gt and i am going to put cobra r rims on it. would it look good if i were to put on it a 16x8 in the front and a 17x9 in the back. would those also work with a 1 1/2 inch lower all around? also i am putting BBK spring on it what are recomended strut wise?

yeah and you could forget rotating your tires. you'd have to buy new tires everytime the back/front wear out. just a thought......

get 17x8 with 225's so you can lower the car without ripping the tires up, then keep a set of 10 holes or turbines around with some 265's in the rear so you can slap em on the back and go blazing around...
