You just answered your own question . Size-wise, that's more of personal preference just like color.

Just remember, stripes on your car is like certain parts of the human body.. bigger is not necessarily better! I personally don't like it when the stripes are super wide and very close together. I'd say no more than 5 inches wide for each stripe, and both stripes should fit inside the opening for the grille where the pony is. In other words they should not be so far apart that they would run over the headlights, and most of the chrome pony should be able to fit in the space between them. Know what I mean? At least that's my opinion. Oh, and paint them on, don't get decal stripes.

crazy ppl...lol

well i just got back from the body shop. we decided the basic shade i want. he is gona contact ford to find what they use to see if it would be better than what we picked. so thats all taken care of.

as for the stripes we went with 11" with a 2" gap. it should look pretty nice. we looked at the headlights and the lines on the bumber and used those as our guide. so it should flow pretty well. i also dont have my poor lil plastic chrome pony any more. i had to replace the whole piece that that thing attaches to and instead of finding the right tamper-proof star i just left it off and i think it looks better.

now im on the hunt for a good looking grille insert and my plans for the future are...
1. dual magnaflow exhaust
2. 1.5" - 2" drop
3. some cheap bullet replicas, torque thrust 2s, or somthing similar

Thanks guys.

sounds like a good call

1. magnaflows rock, just make sure you get an x-pipe, not an h-pipe, its sounds WAY better that way
2. new shocks/struts and cc plates with the springs
3. mustangtuning.com

if you drop it anywhere from 1.5" or lower, then you will definitely need them to properly set up your camber, plus you'll be able to set up everything the way you want. any alignment shop can adjust them for you.

Even if you didn't write that it's bad enough you have the nerve to repost it in our forums. I agree with the above, Ass.

You know, I don't go trolling in the V8 forums.. I guess he got tired of having his ass handed to him in the V8 forums by people with faster, better cars so he decided to swing through here and do a "drive-by." One thing I try never to do is be an insulting jackass; all it does is make people mad. And, one thing all of us V6-ers know already.. if it wasn't for the "insult to all Mustangs" V6, there wouldn't BE a Mustang today, since V6 sales are usually about 2/3 of all Mustang sales. Ford is in this to make a profit, and if it got rid of the V6, the Mustang line would be in serious trouble. With all the trouble Ford is having lately, everything has to pull its own weight or it gets the axe. No one wants a good V8 under the hood more than me, but still I appreciate what the V6 has done by greatly increasing sales and keeping the Mustang alive and profitable.
