What size vortech compares to the paxton novi 2000. Just seeing what its capabilities are. s-trim,t-trim, jt-trim, etc.

The x-trim is roughly equivalent to a novi 2000, but you can't get that in reverse rotation, so it won't go on a mod motor. The largest vortech supercharger in reverse rotation is the t-trim I believe.

The JT Trim is as close as you'll get to a Novi 2000 with a vortech.

So the novi 2000 is capable of seeing the 660rwhp your at now and the 750 rwhp your wanting to get with the jt trim?

I never thought the novi 2000 was that strong of a s/c.

how much boost and rpms can it go to?

The Novi is getting ready to make over 700 rwhp on a 2V car that T&J built and the JT is getting ready to do the same on my car.

If you'll remember, when the Novi was first introduced it was meant as a race blower so it's plenty strong enough and Vortech classifies the JT as "race only" as evidenced by the data plate on the blower.

Both can cram well over 25 psi (not sure of the exact #) into the motor if properly done. In terms of blower speed I don't know the exact limitations set by vortech or paxton but I'm sure it's at least 55K rpm with the usual "we didn't tell you this" 10K rpm cushion.

Some vortech info.

http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/products/units/performance.html

And not quite as thorough paxton info.
