I'm about to put my '66 coupe in the shop to get some suspension work done. I'm having really loose steering which is bad above 60mph or so. I already have new shocks front and leaf springs in the rear. What all should I have replaced while I have it in the shop. I'm gonna buy all the parts I need before I take her in.
I know I'm gonna get new coil springs all around and ball joints. My ball joints are shot and I think that is where I'm getting the loose steering(I already adjusted the steering box). Should I replace the upper/lower suspension arms, stabiliser bar and the tie rods while I have it in? What could be the main causes of bad steering?
