check the MAF and cai pipe for tightness. If it somehow came loose and is letting in alot of unmetered air in it can cause these symptoms

I'd check FP for starters. Then start diagnosing from there. Make sure your dizzy is bolted down tight too.

Time to bump that thread about getting another car.

Seriously, you'll have it figured out shortly. WHen things go that wrong, they generally are not real hard to diagnose.

Good luck.

It is CURSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check the pressure when i start it? Or just while priming?

How can the battery effect this if it starts right up??? Everything is good but i haven't checked the FP. Seriously this pisses me of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its the second time this happens, then it stared right up. And i dont mean about the one i posted weere it wouldn't start it did the exact same thing!!!!!!!!!!!! O think im just gonna get an 99-04 and spray it and be done with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I'd check FP at the time the car craps out. If this means noting it as the pump primes (because the car catches for a split second and dies), then that's what it takes.

That's an interesting point brought up by guys with air-inlet-tubing that falls off. I'm happy to say that I havent ever had that happen but it sounds like a decent idea and a super quick thing to check.

Good luck.

the CAI is what you need to check first. i had that happen on numerous occassions. it lets air in that the computer doesn't know about and the more gas you give it the worse it gets. i can let mine idle with it off but any gas will stall it.

I will file this away in my mental notes. I have to ask how you guys have such issues with CAI's falling apart? What's the issue?

And Guero, glad to hear it's fixored.

I think i know why mine fel out. I guess the hose clamp was tilted a little. Now that i think about it, its started doing this right after the speed bump next to my house.
