What times should I expect out of my 03 Cobra Vert?

Couple questions:
What's an average time for an 03 Cobra vert?
Do the verts have a different tune than the coupes?

I ran my for the first time tonight(maybe last too)
My best out of 4 runs was 2.2 60 foot and a 13.79 at 103.5.
The temp was about 80 with the corrected alt at 6000 feet.

I didn't get many passes though, since they hassled me about running faster than 13.99 with a vert. NHRA track and all....So, I really only got one pass to make a real ET attempt. Others were sandbags to avoid being sent home.
Example: 15.1 et at 105.3mph. Wanted my 100 MPH club stickers.

Only mod is Borla Stinger cat back system.

If you can drive good mid to high 12's all day. I have seen guys miss gears and still break out a high 12 in a stock car.

Does anybody have a break-down of their fastest runs with a vert?
I'd like to compare et/speeds at different distances and see where I may be coming up short.

I also noticed a pretty big variance in MPH from posts on another board. From 105 to 114mph.

What RPM are you shifting at? I ran it right up to the fuel cut-off.

In fact, with my fastest MPH run of 105.x, I hit the limiter about 50-75 feet before the lights in 3rd gear.

The actual REALITY of it is that most 'Average Joe' drivers drive 03+ verts in the range of 13.3-13.6. So your really not that far off the mark. Its your 60' that's killing you.

stock 03' coupes usually run in the 12.9-13.6 range (drive by John doe).
All these times are very very common for the average Joe. Now you might get many 'optimists' pulliing the BS flag on me, but i can tell you that this is what most 'non-professional' drivers end up pulling at the track. But i'm sure a pro-driver (or someone willing to beat the piss out of their ride) will pull better times, but not the average Joe...

Now the key to the 03+ cobras are their POTENTIAL!!!

PS: i ran a 12.6@113 at UBLY MI, last weekend. I have a vert w/ no rollbar and i didn't get kicked out

Ive run 3 13.0s in my 03 coupe... Im definately not a pro driver. After I install my K&n FIPK I will have my 12 second slip (borla stinger and K&n drop in filter only mods now)

guy, invest in the predator self-tuner and a 2.8" pulley and your looking at an easy 88 hp. Even if you can't drive so good, this will drive YOU into the 12's whether you like it or not

I plan the mods for sure, but want to be sure I am getting the potential from the current set-up.

aside from the 60 foot time, where else is there more speed/better et without modding any more?

Should I be shifting at 6000 instead of 6400?
Since I'm not allowed back at our local track now I need to bench race to figure out the best technique.

PS: I have a fair amount of track experience, including 4 speed cars, so I consider myself above average in driving ability.

03 cobra vert or not should run faster then that. gts with all the bolt ons can run 13.6-13.8. it wouldnt even be worth buying the cobra.

I shift at 6k due to "Roots type" supercharger...Eaton tends to dip after 6k no reason to push it any farther. How is the IRS holding up? You should be running 12.6-12.9 or so. Are you power shifting? Not good to back off throttle and have to boost back up. Also need to Boost Bypass you system as you will loose 3PSI at WOT....ouch! I ran 11.2 with Mods. at Rockingham.
