ok i just put a paxton on my car and now i have two weak links.... which one should i upgrade first? disc brakes in the front or 9" with 3:70's in the rear. my rear end right now is a ticking 8" time bomb with new 4:11 gears and a posi unit. I really dont want to break it since i have a 67 cougar that it will fit in. What should i buy guys???

If you are launching hard enough to break the rear end, but you don't, you may be wishing you had the brakes up front.

safety always comes first, do the disc conversion now. unless your engine is making more than 400hp(375 with slicks) AND you are driving like john force in his company car, you are not going the break the rear end anytime soon.

While driving up and down from Big Bear Lake yesterday, I noticed all the bent and torn guard rails on the winding MOUNTAIN road. I bet those guys wished they had better brakes.

Your car is pretty sweet. You should make a vid. Is the supercharger off of a 5.0? Where did you get the radiator?

...or better driving skills. You should see all the bent rails, skid marks and stains on Angeles Forest/Angeles Crest, and some of the dumb stuff people do up there every day.

PS I vote for the brake upgrade and a lighter throttle foot.
