Some opinions would be appreciated.

I am at the point of sending my 67 off for some body work, but in light of my recent timing chain cover fiasco I am thinking about pulling motor and trans. I would still send the car out for the body work but I would add headers and a new oil pan-windage tray to the engine (and replace the stupid oil dipstick), also I could have my leaky rear transmission seal replaced. It would also allow me to clean up my engine bay somewhat.

So, should I pull the engine and have the body work done at the same time??

I think it would depend on where the body work is being done and whether or not it is getting painted.

personaly I wouldnt want to risk pulling the hood off after its been all properly alined and has fresh soft paint on it.
