what tranny cooler?

B&M makes some good ones. I have the largest one they sell that come still comes with the mounting hardware. They do make some with built in fans also, but those are a bit pricey.

Check out summitracing.com. I got mine for around $50 from them.

did you mean to say it did come with all the mounting hardware? did you install it or did you get it installed?

where did you get the hardware to install yours?

I bought the Ford Racing M-7095-SR cooler and it came with several fittings...and not a single one worked. The fitting that threaded into the radiator cooler was almost the same thread...but it fit a little loose and the "flare" surface wasn't big enough. The female fitting that was supposed to fit over the removed line was so shallow that the threads never even started...

Here's what I did and it seems to be working real nice:
Removed the "return" line at the radiator cooler (upper line on my car) and I cut off the line about 2" after the 90 degree bend - then in a vise, I bubble-flared the end of the short 90 line and fitting that I just chopped off...and reinstalled it back in the radiator and hooked up my first new cooler hose. Next I bubble-flared the other end of the original return line, but since I did this one "on the car" it wasn't very easy to use the flare tool. Then I just hooked the second cooler hose to the line and tested for leaks. As for the mounting hardware, it came with several brackets and quick-mount supports. Actually finding a good place to run the hoses was my biggest problem. I routed mine through an open area right in front of the battery, but I had to modify that plastic edging near the ends of the condenser so that the new hoses would slide through better. And I also added protective loom covering on the hoses just to make sure that nothing would cut into them.

Yes, it came with the hardware, and I did it myself. It dosen't take very long...sounds worse than it is.

Here is the link to the one I bought: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=BMM-70264&N=120 4294924500 4294923354 300221

It's the biggest one they make before going to the racing version that dosen't include the mounting stuff.

They're probably all the *same* "stacked plate" design cooler as the Ford Racing 18,000gvw unit that I paid $47.00 for...

Yes, I just looked at the B&M photo and it looks 100% exactly like the Ford cooler I bought.

Yeah they're basically the same except that the B&M is a 24,000gvw cooler.
