i was bored and started looking up what it would run for a new tranny, for what kind and such. saw the usual upgrades tko 500 & 600, plus the t-56, are there any others out there, other than the 3550 and stock t-5. im looking for something, i want to go for the t-56 but i doubt i can gather the funds to pull off the whole project. since the t-56 is gonna run around 4, and the tko looks to be more like 2, definitly a bit saved. what do you guys have, and how have those held up with what power? what would u recommend? i hope to be getting a power adder shortly and running 350-400 hp to give a ballpark on power. thx.

those that put other, what kind is it, just the stock t-5? are there any other trans out there, manual that is.

I was thinking about doing he Viper spec T-56 as well, but have so many other things to do to the car I ended up ordering a TKO 600 with Spec Stage 3+ clutch and steel bellhousing and extended shift fork from www.bieberfever.com. Should be here Thurs. or Friday. Car has 550rwhp and 500 lbs./ft torque. Can't wait to install it.

Im one of the guys that posted in the OTHER catagory...

I run a built c4 reverse manual valve body with a transbrake and 3500 stall converter... Its an automatic but like a stick cause you have to shift it.. but theres nothing out there like it.. ****s so hard. consistant just out right sick.. Only down fall is .. I have a 347 blower car... 3.55s and a 3 speed automatic.. 70 75 mph on the highway car sits around 4100 rpms or so ...

Wish i could post pictures of the damn car on here for all of you guys to see but im a complete moron and can figure out how to host them anywhere... dont understand why a sophisticated site like stangnet cant simply have you add pictures to post as long as there the 600x400 needed to pass...

Lentech Strip Terminator, non lockup, 3500 stall speed, 4.30 Detroit Locker.

Make sure car is pointed straight, press pedal, and hang on. Manual 1, 2, 3 shifting, or automatic mode. Kicks Butt!
