Just curious to see what everyone is using? I have a detail business right now that I'm doing on the side. Next year it will be full-time. I'm also a Poorboy's World Polishes and Detailing Products distributor. I'm in the process of making a website that sells detailing products. For now I want to carry 2 other product lines besides Poorboys.

So what does everyone use. Any recommendations? Right now I've been approved to distribute ClearKote and Optimum. Just looking for a few more ideas.

Zaino takes a bit more time as far as the first application, but future applications don't take much time at all. The paint is slicker/more glossy with every added application. I like the quick drying time and some may like the fact that you can apply the product in direct sunlight (not that I recommend it)

I have not used Adams (but I plan to in the near future), but have heard rave reviews on the Z06 board. I know that Adam stands behind his products and is one of the best when it comes to customer service.

You should give Poorboy's World a try. Steve also stands behind his products. I'm picky in what I use,Poorboys makes it so much easier on me with detailing cars. You can also put their products on in the direct sunlight. I like to do them in the sun so I can actually see what I'm doing. Somtimes I put the car under an ez-up tent too. I've been thinking about stocking ClearKote and Optimum also. Have you heard of them?

I will look at Poorboys products, thanks for the tip?

I have not heard of ClearKote or Optimum, but that doesn't mean much since I don't spend a ton of time of detailing forums.

On another note, you may want to carry fewer products that your really like and believe in rather than having lots of the same product from different mfg. I say this b/c you will probably end up spending more time answering questions why one product is better than another rather than actually selling products.

i use adam's stuff, its great stuff and hes an awsome guy, always willing to answer questions, id recomend taking a peek at his detail video, ive tried lots of stuff zaino, poorboys, wolfgang, mothers, clearkote, mothers, eagle one, 3m, turtle wax, etc etc adam's is a great system and can be put on with a porter cabel 7424 which makes detaling a breaze.:flag:

I use Shining Monkey detailing products...

Clicky me

Why? At first it wasn't really out of choice...a friend and co-worker is big in the import show circuit with his '94 Supra and is sponsored by Shining Monkey. He gets their products for free and never uses it all...so he always gives me his surplus.

After using their products for almost a year now, I really like the end results!
