T5 tranny, what weight oil should I use? Or is there a tranny oil for these cars?

Yes ATF for the World Class T-5. gear oil is too thick to properly lubricate the bearings

Yep, but they dont sell it in .6 Qts so you gotta buy 3.

I keep seeing the posts about not using synthetic, which goes against what some of the big trans guys in the industry had mentioned before. What is the source of info or concern?
I'm just curious (I know that trans fluid recommendations seem to be as recursive as whether coffee is good or bad for you. One year it's good and one year it's bad).

I have 316,000+ miles on my '89, 5.0, with a T-5 and the only transmission

fluid I've ever used is MOBIL 1 SYNTHETIC ATF. I change the fluid once a

year.
