well anyone yesterday i was cruising with my friend, i was in my 95 gt and he was in his 96 gt that only has a short throw, flowmasters, and shocks, struts, springs. well we got to a red light...i usally never race but he was asking for it, so it turned green and we both couldn't get traction then we did and i pulled on him alot. after that we were talking about goin to the track, he was saying i might have 13's in my car but i was thinking no way in hell...with the mods in my sig, what do you guys think i will run? i have an automatic.

mid maybe low 14's if you can get traction. Racing at the the track is alot diffrent then on the street. Even if your car is capible of running 13's dont be suprised to look at your time slip and see a 15 second run.

Traction is a huge factor, On the street my Kumo's hook up pretty good and I dont spin the tires unless I try to and even when I launch hard they grip shortly after. At the track I burned them through first, and burned them through second and they finailly hooked when I went into third. The track was horrible that night it was like someone smeard crisco cooking greese on the track for the first 60"

Im not sure about how to launch an auto b/c I have a 5spd and Im still trying to figure that out myself.

I would say mid 14s at best. The stock torque converter and weak gearing the AODE really sucks.

As for launching the auto, get some sticky tires and hold the brake while giving it a little bit of gas. This is where the stock converter really holds you back though...

i doubt you'd be able to run better than a 14.5 with your current mods. dont be too disappointed your first time at the track, i ran a couple 17's my first time (at extreme altitude, but still quite 'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me'ty). you'll get better every time you go, and it's a hell of a lot of fun.

I would say high 14s at best. The stock AODE suck ass. I am going back to the track in like a week. I will let you know what I run. I have a auto as well.

That makes me feel better b/c my first time at the track I hit 15's

Actually that same night I saw 95 Cobra's running worse times then I was so over all I wasent to hurt over it.

it all depends on the driver... I mean, I could probably get a low 14s w/ that... but a more inexperienced driver...: closer to mid/high 14s

-no, I'm not boasting my somewhat decent driving skills... NO, seriously, I'm NOT!

I know you can get into the 14s w/ a little practice... the CAR is capable of low 14s at least...

I think it would capable of lows 14s with a shift kit and better gears and stall converter. I think it will run anywhere from 14.9 to 15.3.
