The 01-02 Traps no higher than the older LS1's. And they don't have any different exhaust manifolds then the 2000. 98-99 Had double wall steel headers.
The LS6 manifold does nothing either since they went with a truck Cam in 01-02. This is debate amongst novice F-Body owners but for every add there was a minus so it all stayed pretty much equal 98-01.
The mods on my 00 SS are O.E. SLP suspension, exhaust, BW Lid/Filter, SLP y-pipe.
I usually trap at 109-112mph but since I have such a stiff suspension my 60 ft time sucks. LS1's trap so high due to the fact that the pull all the way to redline and the gearing is really close.
