I've been looking into what I need to port my heads. I'm down to the grinder. I've been looking around forever. It seems it's impossible to find an affordable electric (variable speed) grinder with a 1/4" collet that's not $150 or more. What's up with that? I have an air tank but its a tiny 4 gallon one so an air grinder is kinda out of the question unless I could find a 20(ish) gallon one for about $100. Any suggestions on something like what I'm looking for?
I found these Foredom grinders but after getting it going with the right handpiece they still would cost about $200. I guess I would make good use of it if I bought one, but man that seems expensive.
