first off this isnt a for sale thread. i already have a friend that wants my engine so nobody else needs to bother asking anyways.
basically i want to know what my old engine is worth. it has just tripped 31K and doesnt have any problems. he is needing a new engine for his 97 GT. he wants the complete engine from heads to oil pan. what should i ask for it? i told him $500 for the short block but i'm not sure what the rest of the engine is worth.
i will have to buy a new or used set of PI heads to go on my car if he buys the whole thing. i want to give him a good deal but i dont want to end up spending more to get new heads than i make selling my old ones
