When I dead hooked my coupe I got the best 60 ft times at 1.6. That was with drag springs 90/10's and four cylinder springs out back with eagle f1 tires. One day I hope to take the gt out to Ennis and see what she'll run.

My car liked a little tire spin. If it dead hooked the 60' suffered a bit. If it spun, it 60' and ran better.

My old 89, my (current) 91, and my Dodge are like this. I'm inclined to believe it has something to do with driving style.

After looking at my signature, it is kind of funny that my 17" ET Street timeslip is better than my 15" slick timeslip. I know on the slicks the car spun less, and sometimes not at all, whereas they always spun with the ET Streets.

Edited for video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4qsCTu8tF8

It spins quite hard with the 17" tires out back.

My understanding was its easier to make up for rolling resistance with a stiffer sidewall on the big end rather then a softer wall and a car that doesnt have the power to do so, or something like that.

Hard to comment, but thats not bad for a botched pass. Should be an easy 12 second car on a clean pass.
