Alright, so I have my engine swap complete (specs in sig), but I need a part in order to start the thing. What is the part the oil filter spins onto that's threaded into the block called? I thought either oil filter adapter or oil filter boss or something, but neither one comes up in a search, except for relocation or bypass kits. I would just use the one out of my old engine, but even putting something over the threads to try to pull it still resulted in me chewing up the threads, so I need a new one no matter what. Please oh please help me my Mustang brethren. I asked last night over on the 94-95 side and got views, but no response and I'd really love to get this thing running today.

I just call it the oil filter adaptor. If I remember correctly, you use a large allen wrench inside the hole to remove it. You should be able to get a new one from the dealer.
