i bought a high torque mini starter on ebay and it doesnt work with my 87 5.0, so i need a new one-i'm not going to go the cheap rout this time- what is my best bet for a direct replacement?- the one i have won't work right
well- it has the set up for a seperate selenoid cord and the actualy power cord, and on the mustangs, there's only one- and i branched the selenoir plug to the power one and it wont work
i tryed a newer hi torque starter similar to the pa performance starters and wrecked it with in a few days...after taking the hi torque starter apart and finding the plastic gears inside shreaded i spend the extra money on a power master starter...its one of the XS series ones i think
