Whats the difference between.......?

A long block and a short block and which is better and why?

Sry, just trying to learn and this is the best place.

Ah, nevermind, I should have googled it first, sry to waste everyones time........

Short Block includes:
Block, Rods, Pistons, Crank and Cam Shafts, Timing Chain (I think)...in other words, the block and mostly internal hardware only.

Long block includes the above plus:
Heads, Intake Manifold, Water Pump, Oil Pan, Balancer, and MAYBE a few other mechanical parts external to the block depending on the distributor you use and the crate engine kit you order.
