You can have LT headers installed and an o/r X-pipe...that's the loudest combination, IMHO.

like posted above, get some headers and a mid pipe. if you want you can go with bassani mid length headers like i did. it meets up with the stock mide pipe. i went with a bassani X with cats and matched it with a magnapack catback. it is loud as hell, people hear me comming from a long ways away when i pull up to their houses. sad part is most people dont want to race anymore like said above. Get headers tho,imo they would make it louder then adding a mid pipe. (if you only were going to do one or the other, i suggest both tho)

I've heard the whole setup on a stang, I think it sounds just like a camaro. My .02 cents.

Personally i think the o/r h-pipe sounds better than the x-pipe. I don't like the x-pipe on high rpm. If you do go with a x-pipe you will get more horse power though. Just depends on what you like. You should find someone that has the SLP exhaust with x/h-pipe and decide from there.

I would start with the SLP x pipe. If you decide to buy long tubes later you can still use your slp x pipe.
