whats the loudest

If you get the Longtubes and O/R X, it will be unbelievably loud! Thats what I have and it is EXTREMELY LOUD! It's almost obnoxious. I left town the other night and my friend who lives about a mile and a half away heard me leave frome his basement and called to see if it was me. I love it though, definately won't have many ricers messing with you anymore.

mile and a half?

Ya...definately believe me when i say it screams! It has a very racecar like sound. Almost like a Nascar. I have to be careful coming home, don't want to piss off the neighbors :nice:

i had the slp loudmouth with slp longtubes and slp ypipe on my previous car, a ls1 z28..and it was digusting, like very obnoxious..i always used to love loud, really loud, but then it got annoying..and everywhere i drove,it was a screaming exhaust show. if thats what you want, then go for it, but it gets old..atleast for me:) pulling up to my house was a skillful task..i used to let the car cruise in neutral so i wouldnt wakeup half the neighborhood at 3am hehe.

like posted above, get some headers and a mid pipe. if you want you can go with bassani mid length headers like i did. it meets up with the stock mide pipe. i went with a bassani X with cats and matched it with a magnapack catback. it is loud as hell, people hear me comming from a long ways away when i pull up to their houses. sad part is most people dont want to race anymore like said above. Get headers tho,imo they would make it louder then adding a mid pipe. (if you only were going to do one or the other, i suggest both tho)

Personally i think the o/r h-pipe sounds better than the x-pipe. I don't like the x-pipe on high rpm. If you do go with a x-pipe you will get more horse power though. Just depends on what you like. You should find someone that has the SLP exhaust with x/h-pipe and decide from there.
