Well....um...I don't think even China can produce a $7K car using child labor!

low price means low quality 99.9% of the time, automobile plants are run on electricity which in most areas comes from coal and a small amount of hydroelectric and wind power, i'm sure everyone on here can attest to the prices of coal and home heating oil, not to mention the overhead of shipping cars all over the United States, and paying plant employees, seeing as American workers aren't going to be paid in pennies just so you can drive an ultra-cheap, unrealistic automobile... unless of course you want American car companies to start outsourcing MORE labor to other parts of the world where they can pay employees pennies on the dollar

if you want to buy a car that's a third the price of a KIA and operate it at highway speeds with semi trucks, hummers and excursions surrounding you... good luck and wear your seatbelt

perhaps you should focus some of your energy on making more realistic changes to your community at the state or local level
