They should know how to do it anywhere. The only problem you will have with a regular alignment place would be if you wanted to give them custom alignment specs. They will only align your car at factory specs.
I wanted a little more negative camber, & a little more positive caster for better handling. I run maximum motorsports cc plates, so I called & asked them for there recomended alignment specs. It was just a little more agressive than factory, but not enough to wear out the tires real bad. it gave me a little better steering response. i like my car to handle. Factory specs are ok though.Didn't know there was such a thing. In what situations would you want to have different specs? I figured all four tires pointing in the same direction was all there was.
there is a wide range in specs. we dont charge any extra for alinging to custom specs.
and NO not everyone knows how to use a camber plate. i would ask a local speed shop who they use for their alignments. you may even be able to get a discount going thru a performance shop. we normally charge $69.99 for cars and we charge $50.00 for all the cars we do for Fastlane and other local shops
Damn, were you there when the Tire Kingdom dudes were molesting my Stang onto the alignment rack (using every piece of wood they could find)? Holy crap...I'd be hysterical. I'd demand they do something about it. I wouldn't want dented CC plates under my hood!!I had my alignment done at a reputable shop, and when I got home and check on the plates, iI noticed they used a hammer to make the adjustments to the plate position. This ended up putting dings in my new CC plates.
