i was wanting to get weld prostars for the front of my car but am not sure if i want skinnies or not. can someone tell me the pros and cons of having skinnies.
Well i have 3 1/2 skinnies up front but i also have a drag suspension on the car, so driveability-wise, i don't have a lot to compare it to. It feels like it did when i had stock wheels up front. I took it up on the highway and did 80 no problem, still felt pretty stable. I did get caught in the rain once when i took the car for a test drive after some work, and stopping was a bit scary with skinnies and wet roads. Wouldn't recommend it for a daily driver, but for a weekend toy it really sheds some weight, and helps with your weight transfer.
