I want to get wheel spacers for the rear. What size and what brand should I go with? I have 255-17-45 tires on stock rims.

Try these...

What are you looking to do with the spacers?

I've run autocrosses with stcky tires and 1-1/4 inch wide Eibach spacers with no problems whatsoever. So feel free to abuse that brand all you want.

I wouldn't go any wider than 1/4". 1 per side.

I want to get them almost out to the lip. I was looking at the 1" that americanmuscel has but I don't know if 1" will be to much. I just don't like how the rear looks tucked in while the front look almost flush.

I've had a set of 25mm (1") H&R rear wheel spacers from Maximum Motorsports since 2002. I have had zero issues with them. I have the same wheel/tire setup as you, and I think 1" is the perfect width. The tire is almost flush with the top of the fender - it doesn't stick out farther than it.

I have 1 1/4" on my 98 GT. they fit perfect. I used the Transdapt brand, just like Eibach but much cheaper.

Im going with 1/2 spacers. I dont want the fenderwell lip cutting into the tires and I dont want to roll the lip. I measured from the tire to the outer part of the fender well and the tires are 1 1/2 inset and the lip is 1" deep.

It would be great if you guys that have them could post up some pics. These are the ones I'm thinking of getting http://www.americanmuscle.com/1in-billet-aluminum-wheel-spacers.html . Would they be any good?

I've had the H&R 1" (25mm) spacers for years...they moved my Khumo 275/40-17 on 17x9s right to the edge of the fender lip, but when I switched to BFG 275/40-17 I had to leave the spacer off because the BFGs are so much wider (and quieter!) than the Khumos were

BTW if anybody's interested in the spacer you can PM me

I went with 1 1/4" and, even with stock tires 245x17, it really made a difference in the look. I'm real happy with them.

Sorry, I don't have any pics. Maybe this thread will help?

Those spacers from Americanmuscle are probably fine.

Yup. The fronts look ok, it's the rears that are tucked-in.
